How is gastric botox injections applied?

Gastric botox injections is not a surgery. Gastric botox is applied via endoscopy. After the patient is taken to the endoscopy room and taken under sedation. In this way, patients sleep and do not feel any discomfort during the procedure. After the esophagus, stomach and duodenum are checked with endoscopy, the procedure is started. With the help of a thin – special needle, the botox toxin is injected into the wall of the stomach. We apply 40-60 injections to all parts of the stomach.
